Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for all of our family, our friends and our MANY blessings from above. Taylor says she is thankful for Mommy and Daddy, all the grandparents and great-grandmothers, cousins, chocolate milk, hippo (Wop), dog (Cayman), waffles, Mick Mick (Mickey Mouse), books, bathtime and pink bows.

This is Taylor's favorite way to watch T.V.-half on the couch, feet up on the coffee table.

Taylor helped me put the Christmas tree up a few weeks ago...
Well, actually she watched Sesame Street while I put the tree up!

The reason we put the tree up so early was because Kevin and I went to the mountains the weekend before Thanksgiving. This was a present from my parents and very much appreciated!! I know they really just wanted us to go so they could keep Taylor for a whole weekend...but that's okay! We had a great time. It was the first time we had ever left Taylor for two nights. We talked about her the whole weekend, of course!

The view from our chalet was beautiful!
Russ and Emily were also there (same present from Mom and Dad) the same weekend so we got together at their cabin and went to eat together. It was a coincidence that we booked the same weekend for our trips but we really enjoyed spending the time together!! Love my little brother! (And Em!!)

On Saturday when we were driving up to the cabin we saw a bear coming down the mountain. There was one little restaurant located about halfway up to our chalet and the bear was coming down to get some food! We stopped and tried to get some pictures. This was the best one but you still can't really tell how big he was. He was big!

On Sunday when we got back we celebrated Thanksgiving with my family.

Love my Daddy!

Love my MeMe!

Taylor and Ellie Grace in their matching Turkey attire, playing sweetly together. Here's a typical conversation between the girls:

Taylor: Mine!

Ellie Grace: Mine!

Taylor: Mine!

Ellie Grace: Mine!

You get the picture. :)

And it wouldn't be a family get-together without a little wrestling from the boys. Here's Gavin and Jacob going at it-the next generation of Kemp/Carver/Henderson wrestlers. I'm sure when we get together with the Burns side later today there will be more wrestling from the boys (the grown-up boys).

All of the girls had a blast playing with Memaw. She was exhausted at the end of the evening!
